Damian Pugh is the heart and soul of Helm Insurance Services. Damian has been involved with the marine industry since an early age and is a boat builder by trade. Combined with a background of marine insurance underwriting, claims management and his own marine repair business Damian is someone you want advising you. Damian loves to ensure that your pride and joy is insured so you can enjoy the wind in your sails.
In his downtime you will find Damian around a boat club, by the water or travelling around with his wife.
Shelly Aisthorpe, Account Executive and Tier 1 qualified. Shelly brings to the team more than 20 years’ experience within the pleasurecraft industry with a background of claims and underwriting.
Shelly enjoys the diversity of the vessels and various risks that she assists arranging insurance on. In her free time, Shelly can be found hanging out with Brian, her chocolate lab, going for a hike or travelling around with her hubby.
30 years Insurance Industry experience across claims, underwriting, marketing & broking. Grew up playing rugby union & AFL before moving across to triathlon in more recent years.
Weekends are spent playing Uber for 4 kids, when not on the water using either the jetski, tinny or 25 foot timber cruiser.
